The sun was shining bright through the cracks of the windows Marshall hissed at the burning light. Awkwardness flowed through the air it felt as if it was so thick you could cut it with a knife if you wanted to. Gumball sat on the couch still inspecting the goop. Fionna watched silently red faced as Marshall continued to laugh after the burning sensation from the sunlight passed.
"Well, let's pick a movie!" Said Fionna, trying to break the ice.
Marshall Stopped laughing because he knew it was upsetting Fionna.
"Sure Fionna, my pick is The Candy Kingdom Chainsaw Massacre." Said Marshall with an evil grin staring at Gumball.
"Oh yeah??!  Then I pick Horrors of the Mushroom War!"  Snapped Gumball.
"Hey man, not cool that's a touchy subject that only years of clinging to a sentimental object can fix." Said Marshall with a disapproving look on his face.
"Wait what?" Said Gumball a little confused.
"Guys, stop fighting! I'll just pick, um how about Silence of the Candy Sheep?"  Interjected Fionna.
The boys agreed with Fionna's movie choice and took a seat on the couch. Fionna put the movie into Geemo and the projection popped up. Gumball leaned in close to Fionna.
"You know just how to solve everyone's problems, you're so kind Fionna." Said Gumball sweetly as he kissed her on the forehead.
"Well math Gumball, I don't know I guess." Blushed Fionna.
Marshall didn't like the fact that Gumball had just kissed Fionna, or even the fact that he had made her blush. Fionna was his love, and nobody could take that from him! Not this Gum head, not anybody.
"Pssssh" Scoffed Marshall "That's not a kiss, I'll show you a real kiss!"
Marshall grabbed Fionna and wrapped his arms around her, he looked her in the eyes and smiled. Fionna was about to tell him to stop but Marshall leaned in for a kiss, and all that came out of Fionna's mouth was hurrr shlmurrr mmmm as Marshall's lips pressed up against hers. Fionna wiped some warm drool out of the corners of her mouth, and tried to focus on the movie, but she doubted that the drama would be over this soon.
"Marshall Lee! That is no way to respect a lady!" Exclaimed a fuming mad Prince Gumball.
"Gumball really its okay I d-" Said Fionna.
"Heh, that's not what she was telling me last night!" Scoffed Marshall.
"Like Fionna would ever touch you!" Yelled Prince Gumball not knowing what he was getting into.
"GUYS!!!! Please stop fighting, it does you both no justice. I love you guys and I hate to see you angry at each other." Fionna said with tears in her eyes.
Gumball and Marshall looked at each other with such a sad look on their faces, they felt guilty that Fionna was disappointed in them.
"Well if only for your sake Fionna, then I shall put up with Marshall." Sighed Gumball.
"And I'll withstand the drabness of this blow pop for you, even though pink cramps my style." Said Marshall who looked like it actually pained him to say it.
"Good." Sniffled Fionna "Now let's get back to the movie ya butts." Said Fionna who smiled at her guy friends.
All three of them sat on the couch Fionna sat in between her two friends. Marshall laughed at every gory  moment in the movie, as Gumball reverted his eyes to the blunt horror. Fionna just sat there watching, and enjoying being cradled by the two boys on each side of her occasionally shouting no! At the suspenseful parts. Gumball being there made Fionna remember her old feelings for him and felt that her heart still longed for his love. But Fionna also knew that she absolutely loved Marshall, everything was so confusing for her. All she really did know is that she loved both of them and was torn between two loves.  Gumball couldn't stand it any longer, he loved everything about Fionna, her smile, her face, her hair, her personality, and even the way her eyes sparkle when they tear up. Gumball turned to Fionna, and blushed even the thought of her, the very image etched into his brain made him want her more than life. But, somehow he could tell that Fionna loved Marshall as well. He turned away, he couldn't bare it any longer, and he couldn't stand being tortured by something that he knew he couldn't have.
"So then why not steal away the princess trapped by darkness."  Gumball thought to himself.
Gumball couldn't hold back any longer, he reached for  Fionna's hand and held it. Fionna turned to Prince Gumball.
"What's the matter PG? You scared or something?" Asked Fionna.
"Yeah Gum-Gum, you need Fionna to protect you?"  Smirked Marshall.
"It-It's… It's just that…" Stammered Prince Gumball.
Gumball held Fionna's hand close to his heart.
"Gumball you stupid idiot what are you doing!" Yelled Marshall Lee furiously.
